CityCenterDC has a new kid in town – and this one is sure to leave a giant imprint on the District’s culinary scene.

We had the pleasure of attending a preview soirée to welcome the newest location of the Fig & Olive family, founded by Laurent Halasz (who was also in attendance). Growing up in the South of France, Halasz cultivated a deep respect for quality ingredients, a respect which is the foundation of his philosophy for Fig & Olive.

Joined by Mayor Richard Galy of Mougins, France, Halasz opened the doors so we could get a small taste of what is to come. We enjoyed several sips from their Signature Cocktail list, and sampled a few small bites – though we can’t wait to back for a true Date Night. Everything was incredible, and we are pleased to see another quality restaurant come to CityCenterDC.
